My Parent's 60th Birthdays part 1: Southern California Family Photographer

So this past weekend me and my brothers, along with our significant others, surprised our parents with a party for their 60th birthdays since they are only five days apart. It was nice and intimate with just our immediate family. In addition to the party we surprised them with a photo session with the whole family and all the grand kids.

First I want to say that I admire my parents. They are the best parents in the entire world and I get to call them mine. Not only are they amazing parents and grandparents, but they are also amazing spouses to each other. Their love for one another is truly eternal. The example they have set for me and my brothers is inspiring. I only hope to have the long lasting and unconditional love they have for each other with my own husband for the many years to come.

With that all being said this blog will be split into a few posts since there was a lot of pictures and family combos to photograph. Here are my parents pictures together. Seriously, look how perfect they are!

The Princess and the Frog: Southern California Child Photographer

A few months back I had the idea to buy a pretty sparkly dress for my daughter and take princess pictures of her in a forest. I got the dress, she had the crown and we were ready to go. Lately I haven't been too stressed to find the "perfect" location because I am learning it isn't about the location, but rather the subject, theme, lighting, mood, and composition. The location is only a small part of the photo and I am also learning how to use a small location and make it beautiful. These were taken in my front yard! Seriously. My front yard is nothing to really look at, but at the right angle I was able to give the illusion of a forest. The frog was an after thought and something I added in right before we went outside to shoot. Then, the princess and the frog photo series was born.
 This is just the start of my fairy tale series. I want to photograph other little girls as all the other princesses in an outdoor setting to create beautiful and magical images. If you are interested in booking me for these or any other of your family photos please contact me 760-885-5667.

Valentine Mini's 2016 dates: Southern California Child Photographer

Valentine mini sessions are just around the corner, actually they will be next week. The pictures below are some of the ones from last year. This year you will have a choice of two sets (or shoot on both!) and I will be offering boudoir sessions for you ladies who want to give your hubby/boyfriend something special for Valentine's day. I am hoping to have example pictures from this years sets up by the weekend. There are only a limited number of spots so book yours today. The price is $150 for 30 minutes. Official flier will come out this weekend.
