An Angel Watching Over: Southern California Family Photographer

I met this lovely young lady in seventh grade and we have been friends ever since! We have the kind of friendship where if we haven't talked in a while and then get together it's like no time has passed. We pick up where we left off and we both know that we are there for each other no matter what.
I took pictures of her first born when he was just 3 months old and it is crazy how big her boys are. And super handsome I might add! This beautiful family has been through so much and recently they lost their last baby boy, Weston, when she was 19 weeks pregnant. Although they only had a short time to hold him he is forever in their hearts.
When we started their session a butterfly flew by and we all knew that little Weston was there saying hello.
It was still a very fun session!

 Boys will be boys!

My Parents 60th Birthdays Part 2: San Bernardino Family Photographer

Here is the second part of my parents birthday celebration and surprise photo session with the whole family! Like I said in the previous blog I took individual portraits of my brother's and their families, our parents with all the grand kids and one with the whole familia, which you will see in Friday's blog.

My Parent's 60th Birthdays part 1: Southern California Family Photographer

So this past weekend me and my brothers, along with our significant others, surprised our parents with a party for their 60th birthdays since they are only five days apart. It was nice and intimate with just our immediate family. In addition to the party we surprised them with a photo session with the whole family and all the grand kids.

First I want to say that I admire my parents. They are the best parents in the entire world and I get to call them mine. Not only are they amazing parents and grandparents, but they are also amazing spouses to each other. Their love for one another is truly eternal. The example they have set for me and my brothers is inspiring. I only hope to have the long lasting and unconditional love they have for each other with my own husband for the many years to come.

With that all being said this blog will be split into a few posts since there was a lot of pictures and family combos to photograph. Here are my parents pictures together. Seriously, look how perfect they are!

Lupus Awareness 1 Year Cake Smash: Southern California Baby Photographer

When this little girl's Aunt came to me with her idea for a surprise cake smash I knew I had to do it! Layla just turned one and her mom has been in ICU for a year now due to pregnancy induced lupus. She has missed out on her baby girl's whole first year of life. Layla's Aunt had an idea that she wanted to have a lupus themed session with purple and butterflies since these are the symbols for lupus. I thought that was such a beautiful idea and a precious gift for Layla's parents.

Layla was seriously the easiest baby I have ever photographed. I mean, she was so happy and smiley I didn't even have to work hard! Well we did have Grandma there to help ;)

Eli and Steffan's Maternity Session: Southern California Maternity Photographer

This winter in Southern California we got a lot of rain that left us with a super bloom of wild flowers throughout the state. Pretty much anywhere you drove you would see beautiful wild flowers.

This session we went to Lake Elsinore and it turned out perfect! I couldn't have asked for better models, better light, and a better location.
