2017 Christmas Mini Session Dates: Southern California Family Photographer

I can't believe we are already getting to the end of the year and getting into the holiday season. Anyone who knows me knows that Christmas is my favorite time of year!
I have a couple announcements that I'd like to say before I get into the dates.

First, I want to thank everyone who has booked a session with me this year for your business and support. When I got pregnant with Tess I lost interest in photography and wasn't feeling inspired in the things I was shooting. Then after having Hunter I started to feel inspired again to photograph children and families. I knew it would be slow going because I was basically starting from scratch. I had a new brand, a new business name, and a new style. You guys have accepted me with open arms and I am grateful for your business and referrals. Those referrals help tremendously so keep them coming!

Second, is that I have updated my website to have a shopping cart within your gallery to make it simple to order prints, gifts, and holiday cards.

Also, don't forget about the promotion I have for November and December to get your beautiful keepsake boxes. They make great gifts!

Ok enough talking and lets get into the dates. I am scheduling them early so you have plenty of time to get your Christmas cards :)

Back to School: Southern California Child Photographer

Technically, it's not back to school since she's never been in school, but I thought it sounded better. These are for first school pictures because she is in Kindergarten! I don't think I have seen a kid more excited to leave her mom and go to school, but my kid was. She came back that first day and said she didn't even miss me and that she didn't think about me all day. Yup. Just like that. I mean I was happy that she loved it and was so eager to learn and make friends but geeze. Actually, because she had such a positive attitude I think it really helped me mentally because I was fine. I didn't cry like I thought I would. Anyways I absolutely love how these came out and will offer this set next year for back to school mini's.

Yes, I realize some of these are repetitive but she's such a good model and it's hard to pick just a few. 

Gone Fishin' : Southern California Child Photographer

This is the second part to Tuesday's blog of little miss Aubrey's brother. David will be turning five on Halloween so mom wanted to get his birthday session done early. When she came to me with the idea I said YES! It's right up my alley I would love to do it. She even brought real goldfish! I couldn't have asked for a better location, lighting, model, and props. It turned out perfect!

Ok Ok, so I have been HORRIBLE about blogging my sessions but I am going to really try to keep on top of it. I am thinking about blogging once a week maybe every Tuesday. That sounds like a good day to me (although today is actually Monday).

She even got her mom involved to model some of the different styles! Aren't they so cute?!

We shot at three different locations that were close together, but we were able to get three different looks.

I also love how beautiful and GREEN our desert was! Yes, that is a picture of the desert. I felt like I was on a prairie or something. It was beautiful.

Personally I am obsessed with the clothing because it is so cute and comfy. I love that you can wear one piece of clothing 10 different ways and it's always fun to mix and match patterns and styles.
