Mommy and Me Session: Southern California Family Photographer

Well Mother's Day just passed and I hope all you Mommy's had a great day. I know I did. If you like what you see here I am considering doing more Mommy and me sessions as mini's so leave a comment and let me know if anyone would like to do this. These beautiful people are close friends of mine.

Lularoe with Shanthi Gaynor: San Bernardino Photographer

Ok Ok, so I have been HORRIBLE about blogging my sessions but I am going to really try to keep on top of it. I am thinking about blogging once a week maybe every Tuesday. That sounds like a good day to me (although today is actually Monday).

She even got her mom involved to model some of the different styles! Aren't they so cute?!

We shot at three different locations that were close together, but we were able to get three different looks.

I also love how beautiful and GREEN our desert was! Yes, that is a picture of the desert. I felt like I was on a prairie or something. It was beautiful.

Personally I am obsessed with the clothing because it is so cute and comfy. I love that you can wear one piece of clothing 10 different ways and it's always fun to mix and match patterns and styles. Going Gold for Leila!! Southern California Family Photographer

I had the great privilege of photographing this beautiful family of five the other day just in time for Christmas! Lindsay and I have known each other since elementary school and have kept in touch ever since through social media.

When Leila was just two years old she was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. It was devastating news to her family. Leila would undergo a series of tests, surgeries, chemotherapy and many many nights spent in the hospital. As you can imagine, it put a strain on the Camarena family physically, emotionally, and financially.

Christmas mini sessions San Bernardino Child Photographer

I am still offering Christmas mini sessions so please call for dates and times if you are interested. There will be two sets to choose from. Indoor or outdoor sessions. The indoor setup is like the pictures below. You can bring your kiddos in their Pj's and they can eat some fresh cookies! An outdoor setup will also be available. Easter Mini Session Dates: Southern California Child Photographer

Easter Mini Sessions are here! They will be taking place next week before Easter so you have time to order prints or cards before then. These pictures are some from last year and the set for this year is at the end. Price is $150 for a 30 minute session. You get 10-15 images on a custom USB drive and print release.

The Princess and the Frog: Southern California Child Photographer

A few months back I had the idea to buy a pretty sparkly dress for my daughter and take princess pictures of her in a forest. I got the dress, she had the crown and we were ready to go. Lately I haven't been too stressed to find the "perfect" location because I am learning it isn't about the location, but rather the subject, theme, lighting, mood, and composition. The location is only a small part of the photo and I am also learning how to use a small location and make it beautiful. These were taken in my front yard! Seriously. My front yard is nothing to really look at, but at the right angle I was able to give the illusion of a forest. The frog was an after thought and something I added in right before we went outside to shoot. Then, the princess and the frog photo series was born.
 This is just the start of my fairy tale series. I want to photograph other little girls as all the other princesses in an outdoor setting to create beautiful and magical images. If you are interested in booking me for these or any other of your family photos please contact me 760-885-5667.

I am IN LOVE with the way these pictures came out. Just how I imagined, dreamy and creamy. My little boy is so handsome and is growing up so fast! I had so many favorites it was hard for me to choose even though he was giving me a run for my money, he wouldn't sit still!
